HVAC Requirements

  • Controlled environment
  • Humidity: 30-60%
  • Humidity Stability: Less than ± 5% change per hour

  • Temperature Stability: Less than 2° C (3.8° F) change per hour

Location Requirements (Other)

  • The printer should be placed far from vibration-producing equipment. Extreme vibration (e.g., near heavy machinery or train tracks) can cause print failures. Avoid such areas.
  • Elevation: Your facility must be between 0-2000 m (0-6560 ft) for proper operation.
  • UV Exposure: Limit UV exposure by placing Printer, resin, and work areas away from windows and UV light sources.
    • Recommendations:
      • LED lighting is recommended.
      • Nearby exterior windows should be coated to minimize transmission of wavelengths < 420 nm.
