Print Preparation
Before parts are printed, a build has to be prepared. This initial step is known as print preparation (also Print Prep or Digital Prep), because an stl is imported into the Printer UI. The printer UI is accessed using a web browser. This software interface controls the chosen printer.
To create a build for printing, follow the steps below
1. Select a printer from the dashboard 2. Click New Project and import an STL file 3. Select a resin 4. Orient the part 5. Add supports (if needed) 6. Layout the build platform 7. Optional adjustments • Scale parts • Part labels • Print controls 8. Run Project Analysis • Review Unvented Volumes • Check Slices • Review islands 9. Add to print queue 10. Click Print
Note about "Click Print" - This action sends the project to the printer. The print only begins once an operator starts the print at the printer or on the pop-up window that appears after clicking print.
Tip - When setting up a build in the Printer UI, start on the left and work your way to the right. After importing your part, begin by selecting a material on the left. Then work from left to right on the top bar of the UI. Finishing on the right of the screen with Print.
