Dreve PCU vario 160
Overview
The PCU vario 160 is a UV curing unit that offers a large cure area and the ability to cure parts in ambient air, vacuum or nitrogen environments.
An external source of nitrogen gas is required to operate the PCU Vario 160 when a nitrogen environment is needed.

Configuring the PCU vario 160
Carbon provides a downloadable file with the programs required to cure compatible resins. These must be installed on the PCU vario 160
- during initial install
- when new resin programs or updates are released
This process requires an empty USB flash drive that is less than 32 GB.
Download the configuration file below:
Released 1 August 2025
Obtain a clean USB that is under 32GB to ensure successful transfer and prevent corruption
Copy the configuration file to the USB drive.
Plug the USB into the back of the PCU vario 160 control module.
Open the Settings tab on the control module.
Select the Import Programs tab.
Wait for the import to finish.
Check programs to ensure it was completed successfully.
Turn off PCU vario 160.
Remove the USB drive.
Turn the PCU vario 160 on.
Your PCU vario 160 is now ready for operation!
