Operation

Two M1/M2 platforms OR one L1 platform can be placed in the washer at one time.

M3 and M3 Max platforms are not currently compatible with DEMI 910 brackets.

1

Fixture adjustment

This applies to both M Series and L1 brackets.

  • Tilt fixture up and away from the solvent and slide sideways along the rail to the desired location.
  • Lower fixture down towards solvent.

  • Make sure to seat the tab on the underside of the bracket arm into the rectangular notches on the rail to prevent sideways motion.

Mount the platform in the bracket

Place your platform in the M or L1 fixtures as shown below.

Do not submerge the mount of the M Series platform or allow solvent into the cavity on the underside of the L1 platform!

Rinse parts

  1. As soon as the wash is complete, remove the platform from the DEMI 910.
  2. Post dunk the parts in IPA for 10 vertical dunks on platform to displace the solvent and let dry for at least 30 minutes before curing or baking.

Wash Settings

Carbon has tested the DEMI 910 using the PLM-450-SUB solvent with the resins listed in the table below. Use the table to set the proper ultrasonics and wash time.

Use the shortest effective wash cycle. Longer solvent exposure times may degrade material properties

* Recommended starting point. Parts may be washed for less time if sufficiently clean.

** Washing beyond the recommended maximum time could lead to degradation of material properties.

Carbon does not recommend washing SIL 30 with the DEMI 910.

PLM-450-SUB solvent is not compatible with the Carbon Smart Part Washer.
