This information also applies to the legacy APM LED UV-Cube II.
APM LED UV-Cube III
Starting the APM LED Cube II oven for the first time:
- Plug in your power cord to the back of the oven, and the bottom left.
- You will receive 3 power cords with your oven, choose the one that fits your outlet properly.
- Turn on the power at the back of the oven, next to the power cord.
- You should now be able to use the touchscreen and button on the front of your oven.
Note: Use the oven at 100% intensity (default setting), but turn off your turntable and O2 sensor.
- To turn off the O2 sensor, tap the arrow to get to the correct menu option and uncheck the O2 sensor (tap in the circle so it's no longer colored blue). The O2 % reading in the top right corner should disappear.
Be sure your part is completely dry before curing.
- Put on a new pair of gloves.
- Your gloves will be soiled from washing your part.
- Always use clean gloves when operating the touchscreen.
- Use arrow buttons on the touch screen to set cure time and intensity according to the resin-specific protocols (01:00 = 1 minute 00 seconds).
- Place the parts to be cured in the center of the tray.
- We recommend lining the clear plate with foil to keep them clean and only using 1 level at a time (never stacking parts on multiple levels).
- Do not use both racks at the same time. The light will not pass through the top rack. If you need to use the bottom rack, remove the top rack before exposing.
- Close the door.
- Press the silver circular start button.
- Rotate the part and repeat until all surfaces have received UV light.
- Since the AMP LED Cube III does not produce heat, pausing between curing each side is not necessary.
