AO Backpack

A part of the AO (Automatic Operation) Suite, the AO Backpack is an accessory that enables unattended printing with minimal downtime between cycles.
It connects to the back of M3 or M3 Max printers.
The AO Backpack and printer cycle through a queue of projects, automatically dispensing resin, printing and removing printed parts from the platform.
Parts are captured in a basket. Residual resin flows into a plastic bin, enabling easy reuse of the captured resin.
AO Backpack usage is currently restricted to these conditions:
- Dental models printed with DPR 10
- Projects less than 40 mm in height
- High volume labs
- Labs that produce models and dies made with DPR 10
- Print multiple projects automatically, up to 12 hours of continuous printing, depending on design and geometry.
- Printed parts are automatically removed from the platform and captured in a large basket.
- This basket allows unused resin to drain through where it is captured by a plastic bin for reuse.
- A sensor detects when the basket is full to prevent damage to parts or Carbon hardware.
- A resin tank and pumping system enable automatic resin refill, enabling unattended operation.
