v1.27
Hello. Thank you so much for your support and engagement with our teams. Your feedback helps drive our development process and makes our products better.
In this release, we’ve included the following improvements to your print process:
- Improving consistency of parts across a build
- Island detector update
- Project analysis time decrease
- Ability to always abort your print
Please note: Due to COVID-19 and shelter-in-place restrictions, we’ve skipped releasing v1.26 externally.
We can’t wait to hear from you about this release. Keep printing great parts and sharing your feedback. We appreciate it, and it makes our products better.
If you have any questions, please contact the Carbon Service Team at [email protected] or Alex at [email protected].
We’re continuously striving for more accurate and higher fidelity parts. We have changed the light intensity to be more uniform across the build plane, which will improve the accuracy and consistency of parts printed across a build. If you are printing multiples of the same part in a build, you may notice the overall mechanical properties and accuracy of your parts in the corners becoming more consistent with those closer to the center of your build.
This feature was first released for 1.25 but had been turned off due to an issue that slowed down project analysis. It is now fixed, and this feature will be available in 1.27 in the project analysis panel. For details, please refer to the v1.25 release notes.
We’ve improved how we analyze your projects by speeding up calculations during project analysis. Depending on the height and size of your build, you may notice analysis times decrease by up to 35%. This speedup will not impact how your parts print and also, does not affect the analysis time of projects that use FPU 50 or SIL 30.
We understand that sometimes, you may want to abort a print shortly after you start it and before the platform starts lowering into the resin. We’ve added the ability to abort your print while it’s preparing, so you won’t have to wait.
We love hearing from you about your workflow, your parts, and how to improve. Keep your insightful feedback and ratings coming. We read them carefully and follow up when you request that we contact you.
