v1.23
Hello. Thank you so much for your support and engagement with our teams. Your feedback helps drive our development process and makes our products better.
This release, you’ll be able to:
- Queue a project revision
- Download individual parts
- Set user preferences for Auto Layout
- Save part labels with a keystroke
- Run project estimates with cassette type not in the printer
- Print Faster
We can’t wait to hear from you about this release. Keep printing great parts and sharing your feedback. We appreciate it, and it makes our products better.
If you have any questions, please contact the Carbon Service Team at [email protected]
We’ve made some changes to queuing a project to the printer. Previously, when you sent a project to the queue, any subsequent changes made to the project would be reflected in the queued project. Moving forward, when you queue your project, you will be queueing a revision that cannot be changed.
You will notice a “Last revised” date at the top right of your projects. This is the time at which you made the last change to your project:
You can now queue up different revisions of one project:
To make edits to what will be printed, you will need to delete it from the queue and add a new revision to the queue.
We’ve made it easier to move parts from one project to another. You will now be able to download an STL of just the parts you choose and their corresponding supports.
Please note: the supports will be merged with the part and will no longer be editable upon uploading into another project.
We’ve added default user preferences for Auto Layout. For new projects you create, the Auto Layout fields will be auto-populated with the preferences you have specified. You can always change them per project if you would like.
For faster label creation, you can now save your label by pressing the “S” key.
Please note: the keystroke will not work when any of the text boxes are in focus.
*This will only apply if you print with more than one cassette type.
You can now run project analysis on different cassette types that are not physically placed in your printer at the time of analysis. You will have the option of choosing a different cassette type in the Print Controls panel (Shift + P) before running analysis.
Please note: selecting a cassette type for analysis will not affect the cassette type you ultimately print with.
We’re continuously testing and characterizing our hardware. With this release, we are allowing our motors to move faster in certain situations during printing. You may see a decrease in your print time. The change will be most noticeable for large builds with more viscous resins.
Changes to dental resin print speeds are negligible.
We love hearing from you about your workflow, your parts, and how to improve. Keep your insightful feedback and ratings coming. We read them carefully and follow up when you request that we contact you. If you prefer real-time feedback, you can always contact the Carbon Service Team, [email protected].
