Gingiva

Check the slices
Check the slice video in the printer UI to ensure the model has a flat base and is snapped to the platform.
The first slice should show the entire base, not just a small piece of the part.
Solvent check
Check that you are cleaning platforms with the correct solvents (99.5% IPA or acetone). Incorrect cleaning prevents the next print from adhering well.
Expired resin
Check the expiration sticker on your resin bottle to ensure your resin is not past its expiration date. If it is, dispose of the resin and print again with a non-expired bottle.
Platform maintenance
Check to ensure your platform is seating correctly.

Check alignment
If you are still experiencing issues with parts consistently falling off the platform, your printer may be out of alignment.
As a very basic test, you can run an an Alignment Squares Test or a Z-stroke calibration test print to see if there are any large issues with your printer's alignment.
The alignment test print is more appropriate when adhesion is observed to vary across the build plane.
The Z-stroke calibration test print shows adhesion is uniformly poor across the build plane.
Please send the results to Carbon Support to determine if alignment may be contributing to the print failures.

Check DME settings in 3shape
If using 3shape Implant Studio for guide design, check to ensure the Carbon M Series Printer DME settings were applied. The settings included in 3Shape specify a range and some iterating within this range to achieve the desired fit is not uncommon.
Carbon has not validated settings for 3rd party software other than 3Shape Implant Studio.
Check the orientation and support
Check the project in the printer UI to ensure your parts were oriented and supported correctly:
Check part surface
Check to see if the support tips on your parts need to be sanded down. Tips can interfere with a model and create rocking.
Still having trouble? Contact Carbon Support with a print error.
Scale up
While gingiva parts typically fit loosely, parts can be scaled up by 1 - 2% to mitigate any serious fit issues.

For any other issue, contact Carbon Support. Be sure to provide as much detailed information as possible in order to expedite the diagnostic process.
