Before Printing
My printer and computer are connected to the same network.
- Ensure you are using a compatible browser (not Explorer).
- Close the browser and re-open it.
- Clear the browsing history and cache in the browser and see if this allows the printer and computer to connect.

My printer and computer are not connected to the same network.
- Change the network that either the printer or your computer is using to ensure they are using the same network and can connect.
- To learn more about connecting your printer to a network, reference Network Connectivity Device Setup.
- Repair your file in a 3rd party repair software and re-upload it.
- Reduce the resolution of your part to reduce the file size and re-upload it.
I'm seeing blank or incomplete slices in my UI.
1. Use the Project Analysis tool in the UI to verify if your part contains blank slices or slice errors.

2. Identify any incomplete slices by viewing the slices and checking for anomalies compared to what the part geometry should be.
3. If you do have blank or incomplete slices, repair your uploaded .stl file in a 3rd party repair software and re-upload it to the printer UI.
4. If it is unclear where you are experiencing slice issues and repairing your .stl file does not solve the problem, please contact Carbon Support with a software error.
I had a small feature or hole in the part that is now gone.
- It is possible the Printer UI auto-repaired your part and removed the feature. To undo this, open the Parts List on the far left of your UI interface. Any auto-repairs will be noted there, along with the option to undo them. Undo the auto-repair and check your part for the missing feature or hole.
- If there is no repair to undo, or if undoing the repair does not address your problem, please contact Carbon Support.
Other slice issue
- Repair your uploaded .stl file in another platform and re-upload it to the Printer UI.
My resin is dispensing unusually slowly
- If the battery is not fully charged, recharge it and try again.
- If the battery is fully charged and you are still experiencing a slow dispense:
- If you are dispensing EPU or RPU 130, it is likely that you are experiencing crystallization. Please see the section below on crystallization and how to mitigate it.
- If you are dispensing SIL 30, it is likely that you are experiencing mixing issues, particularly if you are using the Cox dispenser.
- Please see the section below on SIL 30 mixing issues and how to mitigate them.
- If you are not experiencing SIL 30 mixing issues, please contact Carbon Support with a materials error.
My resin cartridge is leaking
- DO NOT use your cartridge if it is leaking resin.
- Please set it aside in a safe and contained area and contact Carbon Support with a materials error.

- Swap out the platform and continue printing with a different platform.
- If this solves the problem, contact Carbon Support with a hardware error to address the faulty platform.
- If this does not solve the problem, clean the platform and arm as per maintenance protocols and try the platform again.
- If the printer still does not recognize the platforms, contact Carbon Support with a hardware error to address a larger printer issue.
- Swap out the cassette and continue printing with a different cassette.
- If this solves the problem, contact Carbon Support with a hardware error to address the faulty cassette.
- If this does not solve the problem, contact Carbon Support with a hardware error to address a larger printer issue.
For any other issue, contact Carbon Support. Be sure to provide as much detailed information as possible in order to expedite the diagnostic process.
