## Model not adhering to platform

**Check Support position**

Check the Printer UI to ensure your parts were supported **Above Platform, **and that the proper support SOP was followed:

- [DENTCA Denture Base II for Carbon Printers](docId\:iNFIr883SJIlyouwEt4NQ)
- [Desktop Health Flexcera Base and Flexcera Base Ultra+](docId\:pR5Ek3RWSxSxdEguGFsdE)
- [Lucitone Digital Print 3D Denture Base Resin](docId\:gegvFYfLs9BKHfa2wVVJu)

**Platform maintenance**

Check to ensure your platform is seating correctly.

**Expired resin**

Check the **expiration sticker** on your resin bottle to ensure your resin is not past its expiration date. If it is, dispose of the resin and print again with a non-expired bottle.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Check alignment**

If you are still experiencing issues with parts consistently falling off the platform, your printer may be **out of alignment.**

As a very basic test, you can run an an [Alignment Squares Test](docId\:eneYDJvgK9I1zhog5jjJE) or a [Z-stroke calibration test print](docId\:eneYDJvgK9I1zhog5jjJE) to see if there are any large issues with your printer's alignment.

The **alignment test print** is more appropriate when adhesion is observed to vary across the build plane.

The **Z-stroke calibration test print **shows adhesion is uniformly poor across the build plane.

- [Alignments Squares Test](docId\:eneYDJvgK9I1zhog5jjJE)
- [Z-Stroke Test](docId\:eneYDJvgK9I1zhog5jjJE)

Please send the results to [Carbon Support](docId\:K86Zo5vcyN_wqJL3vdGFt) to determine if alignment may be contributing to the print failures.

**Check supports**

Check the Printer UI to ensure your parts were supported according to the guidance:

- [DENTCA Denture Base II for Carbon Printers](docId\:iNFIr883SJIlyouwEt4NQ)
- [Desktop Health Flexcera Base and Flexcera Base Ultra+](docId\:pR5Ek3RWSxSxdEguGFsdE)

**Check the slices**

Check the [slice video](docId\:gfR-GoC-Irq_L9_KanC-X) in the printer UI to ensure the model does not have any errors.

If errors are detected, use your 3rd party software tool to repair them.

## Teeth are not fitting into the denture bases

::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Check teeth sockets**

Check the teeth sockets for any remaining support nubs if the vertical orientation was used. If any are still protruding, file them down and reseat the teeth.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Check printed teeth**

Ensure that the teeth printed correctly and are not deformed.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Check designs**

Check your design settings in your CAD design software to ensure that your .stl is correct.

Bonding process

Review the bonding process in the [manufacturer IFU](docId\:iNFIr883SJIlyouwEt4NQ) to ensure that all of the steps were followed correctly.

**Try different orientation**

:::hint{type="warning"}
For Dentca Denture Base II only
:::

If the initial print was oriented using the 15 and 30 degree angled orientations, try printing the denture in the vertical orientation, as this yields improved accuracy.

See [DENTCA Denture Base II for Carbon Printers](docId\:iNFIr883SJIlyouwEt4NQ).
::::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Review base design**

The denture may have been designed in a way that prevents proper fit from being achieved. Have an experienced designer confirm that the design is sufficient.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
**Stone models**

Dentures are sometimes designed to grip undercuts. Stone models are very rigid, and sometimes prevent a denture from fully seating.
