EPX 150 is an engineering-grade material with excellent chemical and creep resistance, comparable to high-performance thermoplastics like PEEK and PSU. With a heat deflection temperature of 155°C, it is ideal for producing precise parts with fine features. It enables high-temperature, chemical-resistant applications such as sealed electrical connectors, fluid spray nozzles, and reusable medical devices.

# Design

- Round or fillet corners to reduce potential for cracking.
- Long, thin geometries are more prone to warping.

# Washing

Long or complex internal cavities should be cleared with compressed air after washing.

# Curing

- Thick walled (>7.5 mm) parts are prone to crack at sharp corners, where stresses are concentrated.
 - Inert baking greatly lowers the potential for cracking.
- For inert baking, see [Inert Baking](docId\:HUKHDKofw9hthSe0dd8LY) to download the baking profile for EPX 150.
- For standard baking, see [Thermal Curing](docId:7NE6rGdaSzpAPOHH5QOzm) for more information.
