**Highly elastic, tear resistant, and energy returning**

EPU 41 is a production-scale elastomeric material that is especially well-suited for lattices where high resiliency is needed. EPU 41 has higher resilience (energy return) and better retention of elastomeric properties at temperatures > -10°C. It is comparable to commercial TPUs with a Shore A hardness of 70.

# Thermal Processing

Some resins may crystallize or freeze at lower temperatures requiring a thermal processing step, also known as incubation, prior to dispensing.

# Part B Salt Crystals

EPU 41 Part B can form salt crystals when left open in contact with air, or when liquid material is left around the mouth of the container. Avoid formation of **salt crystals **on rim of **Part B** container with simple lab practices.

- Wipe mouth of container to clean off any resin prior to closing cap.
- Keep container closed when not in use.
Part B loaded in an MMD counts as a closed container.
